Here you’ll find important travel and hospitality information which might help you plan you attendance at UKREiiF in May 2025.

Travelling to the venue

By Car

There are numerous car parks across Leeds City Centre, however the closest is CitiPark at New Dock which is the most environmentally friendly multi-storey in the UK with over 1,600 spaces. You can pre-book your parking via the website.

Please be aware that the bookings allow one entry and one exit. Once the vehicle exits the car park, the booking will expire. the vehicle is unable to re-enter under the same booking.

The registration should be recognised as you approach the barriers, should the barrier fail to raise, a QR code will be created for each booking that can be scanned to access the car park.

By Train

The venue is located in close proximity to Leeds Train Station (0.8 miles) with an easy walking route through the city or options for a shuttle bus, taxi, bike hire or water taxi nearby. Direct services run to Leeds from all major cities and for more information you can click here for the National Rail website.

By Park and Ride

There are three park and ride sites in Leeds, with Elland Road for trips from the south and west of Leeds, Temple Green if you’re coming from the north or east, and Stourton if travelling into the south or south west of the city. These provide an ideal alternative to finding city centre parking with buses running every 10-15 minutes

By Water Taxi (from Leeds Train Station)

Next to the train station there is a water taxi that will run frequently between there and the event venue, and back. Details of frequency and time will be shared here ahead of the event.

By Shuttle Bus (from Sovereign Street, Leeds to UKREiiF)

Shuttle buses will run throughout UKREiiF. More details to follow.

By Bicycle

There will be opportunities to join the likes of Club Peloton on a ride to UKREiiF in addition to alternative options including travelling yourself. There is several bike sheds at the event to secure your bike.

By Plane

The closest airport is Leeds Bradford Yorkshire’s Airport with frequent bus transport and taxi’s available from the airport to the city centre. Other airports in close proximity include Manchester Airport with a direct route from the Airport to Leeds train station.

Hotels and Accommodation

There are many hotels and places to stay across the city of Leeds with almost 8,000 beds in the city centre.
Locations like Colton, Garforth, Rothwell and Hunslet are on the edge of the city – whilst cities like Wakefield are just a 15-minute train or drive away. Bradford, Harrogate, York and Huddersfield are also great options with good transport links.

To make attending seamless, we offer complimentary press passes exclusively for registered trade publications. These passes are strictly available to journalists and those in editorial roles.
These passes are specifically for registered trade titles and free tickets will only be provided for journalists and those working in editorial.

We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help you prepare for your attendance at UKREiiF.

Registration

**Badges are mailed out in advance on w/c 12 May**

Following confirmation of your attendance you will receive further communication (from ukreiif@ecreg.uk) which will ask you to upload a photo and provide postal address so the badge can be mailed to you before the event. Please ensure you have completed this step by 11 April 2025 to receive your badge in the post.

Alternatively, you can collect your badge in person via the following options.

Food And Drinks

Whilst you’re at UKREiiF, there are plenty of options for you to explore.

Firstly, we have the Food and Beverage Lime Zone with many options to choose from – including high quality burgers, salads, sour dough pizzas, west African street food, grilled cheese sandwiches, Middle Eastern street food, Peri-Peri chicken, Chinese street food and more.
Across the wider site we also have pop-ups on the Dock Area.

Leeds is known as the foodie capital of the North – with a thriving independent food scene, renowned for its diversity, energy, and innovation.
With unique menus and stellar service there is lots to choose from, and we know at UKREiiF private dining or private entertainment space is a must. So, take a look at some of the places collated by Visit Leeds and ensure you secure your spaces early.

Accessibility at UKREiiF and the surrounding Leeds area

We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment for all attendees. During online pre-event registration, UKREiiF ticket holders can indicate any accessibility or additional support needs, allowing us to provide the best possible experience.

Below, you'll find key information about accessibility at UKREiiF and across Leeds city centre, ensuring a smooth, comfortable, and welcoming experience for everyone.

Accessibility in Leeds City Centre

Leeds city centre is highly accessible and well-connected. If you're arriving at UKREiiF by train, Leeds Station offers step-free access throughout, accessible ticket machines and service desks, as well as national key toilets for your convenience. If you wish to continue your journey, accessible taxis are ready outside of the station to help you arrive at your destination. If you are deaf or hard of hearing, screens throughout the station display British Sign Language (BSL) messages to keep you updated on your journey. If you plan to travel to the event venue using the First Bus Shuttle service, rest assured that all buses are fully accessible and wheelchair-friendly, providing the space and comfort you need. The timetable will be announced soon.

Driving to the event? The carparks nearby offer many disabled parking bays, as well as many disabled parking spots available throughout the city. You can find more information on disability parking in Leeds here 

Leeds offers numerous Park and Ride options, all designed to accommodate wheelchair users and those with audio or visual needs. The PR3 service conveniently stops near the event venue on Hunslet Road, close to Chadwick Street, providing an accessible and hassle-free travel option. More information on this can be found here

Leeds is a highly walkable city with numerous wheelchair-accessible routes, ensuring easy navigation and convenient rest spots along the way. Leeds City Council and VisitLeeds have put together this useful map showing accessible routes and blue badge car parking throughout town. See here. The city also boasts several pedestrian-only areas, such as Greek Street in the Financial Quarter and Merrion Street in the Northern Quarter, both offering vibrant, accessible outdoor spaces perfect for dining and socialising. While visiting Leeds for UKREiiF, why not explore these lively spots? Just outside Leeds Station, you'll also find City Square, now largely pedestrianised and surrounded by restaurants and bars, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the city.

Accessibility at UKREiiF

Every entry point to the UKREiiF venue is fully accessible, including all access points to our stages, pavilions, rooms, and halls. Spaces located on upper levels can be easily reached via lifts. Our internal areas have been thoughtfully designed with accessibility in mind to ensure a seamless experience for all attendees.

To further support our guests, accessibility-related facilities and amenities will be clearly outlined in our programme and on-site maps.

We understand that people who are hard-of-hearing need support at events like UKREiiF to ensure equal opportunities and that assistance is available. If you’re in need of a BSL interpreter just let us know via here and we’ll organise, free of charge, an interpreter to support you during your visit by interpreting the content and discussions on the stages, or aiding networking periods to interpret simultaneously as you meet new people.

Throughout the event, we’ve created inclusive spaces, including a prayer room and a quiet area designed to support neurodiverse needs. We also provide baby-changing facilities to ensure comfort for attendees with young children.

Across the event, you’ll find a wide variety of food and beverage options, with many stalls and cafés offering excellent vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, halal, and kosher choices. A full list of vendors will be shared ahead of the event so you can plan with ease.
